Study Tips

Many people will be going back to school this semester, and we thought that a list of study tips would be helpful to students as they start out a new set of classes. Safe storage for your digital data

We’ve written in the past about personal safes and how most of them will not protect digital data in case of fire. A typical consumer-grade safe is only effective at protecting papers for half an hour during a fire. Most safes that would protect a hard drive cost multiple thousands of dollars and are even out of the price range for many small companies.

The Socratic Method To Great Living (5 Simple Steps)

Whether it is for a pay raise, a promotion, a great reference, or just a cubicle with a window, we all want to impress our boss at work. In tough economic times, we might just be trying to avoid being first in line for a pink slip.

Three bad ways to fund mortgage lending (and maybe a good way)

By Philip BrewerAny institution that wants to fund mortgages has a problem. They want to lend the money out for thirty years, but the money they have to lend comes from deposits that can be withdrawn by the depositors at any time. Banks have come up with three bad ways to work around that problem. It turns out, though, that the Danes have come up with what may be a good way.
